What was your favourite part of the build:

The Laser was bought very cheap in completely standard form. My favourite part of the build has been less about the build and more about the previous owner following along and loving what I'm doing with the car! Favourite part of the Rodeo build is the opportunities that have come with it. There's really no build as it's virtually stock but it's been a lot of fun!

 

Your favourite event:   

Australian Hillclimb Championship in the Laser and either Hampton or Colo Heights Khanacross in the Rodeo

 

Recent accomplishments: 

2023 In the Laser - 1st in class at the Australian Hillclimb Championship as well as a couple of class wins at Ringwood Khanacross events.

2023 In the Rodeo - 1st in class in the NSW State Khanacross Championship, 1st in class in the Westlakes Auto Club Championship, 1st in class in the MGCCN Khanacross Championship, 1st in class at Colo Heights "SORRA" Khanacross 

 

What is on your event Wishlist: 

In 2024 I'm completing in the NSW State Hillclimb Championship and the first 2 rounds are at Bathurst so that's definitely a bucket list event but the real dream is to be behind the wheel of a class 4 truck!

 

What is your advice for someone starting out: 

FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT! Before you even start racing you should picture yourself where you want to be in the future. Treat it like a business! Look professional and act professional. Doesn't matter what you're racing - the fact is you're racing! Make your car stand out as well as your team. Have a logo, have a website, have a strong social media presence. If you can do these things right from the beginning you'll do well!
